Simple vs. Progressive in the present and past
You will be asked to choose simple and progressive tense in the correct
contexts. You will also be asked to choose the past and present in simple and
progressive forms according to contexts. Subject/verb agreement will count as
well. You may be tested with fill in the blanks, multiple-choice, multiple-correct,
matching, pop-up, and short answer.

Hypothetical (Irreal) Conditionals
You will be asked to write sentences about unreal events using present
hypothetical conditionals. You may be tested with fill in the blanks, multiplechoice, multiple-correct, matching, pop-up, and short answer.

If Joe and Jerry stayed in town, they would be shot.
Language Tools
Complete a Dialogue
On the test you will complete dialogues using the following Language Tools:
interrupting, starting a conversation, keeping a conversation going, ending a
conversation, asking for repetition and clarification, expressing opinion, as well
as agreeing and disagreeing.
Use a Language Tool
You will approach the teacher as you turn in your exam and receive a task. This
task will be to use a situation in which you must use a Language Tool with your
teacher or a classmate.
Listening
You will listen to a short passage in class and answer comprehension questions
about what you hear. The questions may include fill-in the blanks, multiple
choice, and short answers.
