Dimensional Analysis Notes
1. Write down the value with which you begin – the value you want to convert.
2. Choose the conversion factor.
3. Set the starting value as a fraction over 1.
4. The conversion factor can be written two ways Ex.
1g
or 1000mm
1000mm
1g
5. Set the conversion factor as a fraction so that the value containing the unit you are starting
with is in the denominator of the fraction and the value with the unit that you want to end up
with is in the numerator of the fraction.
6. Cancel out your units.
7. Solve.

28g = ? mm
