The Program Coordinator of Project Extension for Community Health Outcomes (ECHO) Nevada works with the Associate Dean for the Office of Statewide Initiatives (OSI) to plan and implement ECHO educational activities and ECHO clinics. The individual is responsible for facilitating the flow of information between project faculty, remote participants, and a variety of local, regional, national, and international stakeholders, as well as stimulating interest in and developing programming and services of ECHO. The Program Coordinator is the key liaison between all project sites and partners and works closely with all parties to develop and maintain relationships and partnerships. In addition, the individual works with the Office of Rural Health and the Health Workforce Research and Policy Program on targeted health workforce initiatives including health services research for publications of the office and technical assistance requests by rural hospitals. * Attach an organizational chart with positions, ranges, and names for the division. 2. If line of progression, define for each range as above. 65% - Program Coordination - Project ECHO Develop, plan, implement, oversee, and evaluate ECHO educational and clinical activities to enhance the knowledge base of primary care providers through connection to specialists Coordinate the logistics and programmatic aspects of program development and implementation Coordinate activities and facilitate meetings with a variety of individuals from within OSI, the University, NSHE, community agencies, state agencies, healthcare organizations, as well as higher education, healthcare, and government agencies in other states Facilitate operational meetings of the ECHO Team Conduct needs assessments, analyze results, and incorporate into program planning 1 Program Coordinator, Project ECHO Nevada Attend and monitor ECHO clinics and educational sessions; monitor HIPAA compliance, oversee collection and distribution of case presentations Monitor, troubleshoot, and provide technical support to remote sites; coordinate with Information Technology to ensure connectivity for all ECHO sites Participate in monthly MetaECHO videoconference as Nevada representative 10% - ECHO Program Promotion and Public Relations Maintain and update Project ECHO website and content to stimulate interest in and promote program Develop and disseminate weekly email blast for ECHO distribution list Conduct site visits to participating sites to maintain relationships and to new sites to develop relationships and promote the program Coordinate and participate in networking events (conferences, meetings, etc.) to expand and enhance program participation 25% - Health Workforce Research and Analysis Communicate with Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) health professions programs to coordinate and administer ongoing surveys of incoming and graduating health professions students in Nevada Oversee the administration health professions surveys undertaken by the Health Workforce Research and Policy Program Contribute to data collection and analysis for recurrent publications of the department including the Nevada Rural and Frontier Data Book, the Health Workforce In Nevada Report and the Healthcare Careers in Nevada Manual Participate in writing and editing sections of recurrent publications of the department including the aforementioned publications Oversee the development of online resources and publications developed by the Health Workforce Research and Policy Program 3. The Program Coordinator of Project ECHO Nevada is responsible for developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating educational and clinical ECHO activities as well as Health Workforce Analysis projects. The individual coordinates these activities with a variety of individuals from within OSI, the University, NSHE, community agencies, state agencies, healthcare organizations, as well as higher education, healthcare, and government agencies in other states. The individual independently facilitates the logistics of programming and consults as needed with other internal members of the Project ECHO Team to implement programming. The individual is required to troubleshoot issues using good judgment and solid decision making skills, with an ability to independently evaluate situations, problem solve, and propose solutions without immediate supervision. The position is very visible in the community as a representative of OSI and the University of Nevada School of Medicine (UNSOM) and the actions of the individual reflect on the University, UNSOM, and NSHE. 2 Program Coordinator, Project ECHO Nevada 4.
