Summary Statement: State the major function(s) of the position and its role in the university. The Assistant Manager, Ticket office, is responsible for assisting with the development, implementation, and operations of the Intercollegiate Athletics (ICA) Ticket Office which includes the selling, processing, and printing of season ticket orders, advanced ticket sales, and all individual game sales at all ICA ticketed events. The position assists with preparation of financial reports for ICA ticketed events to include post game and post season reports as well as status reports. The position reports to the Manager, Ticket Office. 2. List the major responsibilities, including percentage of time devoted to each. Provide enough detail to enable a person outside the department to understand the job (percentage first with heading and then bulleted information). 60% - Ticket Office Operations Assist with all aspects of ticket office operations, game day management of ticketed sports, the sale and distribution of tickets to all home and select away athletic events, daily and event reconciliations. Ensure compliance with National Council of Athletics Association (NCAA), Conference, and University rules and regulations (subject to disciplinary or corrective action as set forth in the provisions of the NCAA enforcement procedures) 15% - Season Ticket order processing Process season ticket orders including Athletics Association of University of Nevada (AAUN) donor orders, regular and faculty season ticket orders, and various complimentary and tradeout orders Assist in maintaining seating charts and individual accounts to insure accurate seating and records for accounts paid or unpaid 15% - Student Supervision Assist with the supervision or monitoring student workers in Ticket Office and at events. 5% - Cash Deposits Make deposits under specified accounting systems and reconcile to the university financial system Ensure revenues are deposited in the appropriate ICA revenue accounts 5% - Event Attendance When practical under the circumstances, intercollegiate staff is encouraged to voluntarily attend all athletic events to promote audience participation and support for the University Nevada’s team efforts 3.
