Proposal
Narrative: Provide a brief but detailed description of the proposed research activity or program. Supporting materials may
be attached at the end of the proposal.
Timeline: All proposals must include a detailed timeline that aligns with proposed research activity or program.
Goals, objectives, and assessment/evaluation: Provide the proposed goal/s and objective/s along with a plan to
assess/evaluate the research and/or program. Also, articulate what deliverables will result.
Alignment with Mission: Provide a brief but detailed statement as to how the proposed research activity or program,
through the proposal’s goal/s and objective/s are aligned with both LSU Flagship 2020 and the CHSE Strategic Plan.
Significance: Address how this program or research adds to the knowledge, skills, and dispositions in the engagement of
internationalization.
Impact Statement: In a brief but thoughtful narrative, address how the proposed research activity or program addresses
the needs of CHSE stakeholders (e.g., students, faculty, staff, the community, school/college/ program partners).
Budget: Provide a budget for the proposal with supporting documentation. Be as specific and accurate as possible in terms
of costs (not just estimates).
Budget Rationale: Provide a rationale for the budget justifying the costs associated with meeting the goal/s and objective/s
of the research activity or program.
