Hemingway POR/POD Effective June 1, 2012, Idaho Power introduced a new POR/POD of HMWY into its system. As far as the POD, this is just a replacement of the prior M500 point that Idaho Power sold to for many years. However, this is a new POR to our system. HMWY is another interconnection point with PacifiCorp on the western side of Idaho Power’s system. Although ENPR and HMWY are separate POR’s, there is a simultaneous limit applied to the POR’s. The TTC for the combined paths from a west to east direction is as follows (this is the TTC value that corresponds with the HMWYENPR-Northwest internal segment point reflected on the Idaho Power OASIS map): Winter Operations (November 1 – March 31) - combined TTC of 400MW Spring Operations (April 1 – May 31) – combined TTC of 450MW Summer Operations (June 1 – October 31) – Combined TTC of 510MW The POR of ENPR has a TTC of 400MW and the POR of HMWY has the profiled TTC reflected above. However, on a combined basis, they cannot exceed the profiled TTC above. What this means is on a firm basis, the combined total of transmission sold west-east across Idaho from the POR of ENPR and HMWY combined will not exceed the above TTC values. As with all paths on our system, non-firm ATC will be impacted by any counter-schedules (refer to Idaho Power’s ATC ID for non-firm calculation). Also note, both have a direct correlation to Path 14, Idaho Power’s Idaho-Northwest path.
