0utcome Statement: This lesson will be a lesson on Farm Animals. Included in this
lesson is a review of the sounds, and movements of farm animals. Many examples of the
farm animals will be demonstrated through music, movement drama and language
activities.
Specific objectives (Must be measurable): The student will be able to:
1. identify characteristics of farm animals such as the sounds they make and how
they live.
2. students will act out healthy living and working with farm animals through role
playing
3. students will explore self expression through music, art and drama.

Procedures
Motivation: The teachers will introduce the song ________. (Capture the
interest of the children) Student will be taught words and learn song. The teacher will
read Mrs. Wishy Washy. The students will act out the story will reading story using hand
movements. The students will act out story using props.
Step by step procedure of what you will be doing
Closure: (Review concepts taught) Student will review song and sounds of animals.
Students will review concepts of cleanliness.
Adaptation for students with specific learning needs: Students will have a “buddy” to
help with learning words and concepts. Song will be provided in English and Spanish.
