Central Region Public Power Partner Stakeholders
Announcement of Meeting on November 18, 2010
Notice
Associated Electric Cooperative, Inc. and its Central Public Power Partners (CPPP) are
inviting regional stakeholders to participate in an ongoing CPPP stakeholders group. The
stakeholder group meeting will be held on November 18, 2010, in Springfield, MO.
Background
The CPPP comprises TVA, East Kentucky Power Cooperative, and Associated Electric
Cooperative, Inc.
The purpose of the CPPP stakeholder group is to facilitate regional and inter-regional
planning studies, provide a process allowing stakeholders to request economic planning
studies and provide access to planning data, assumptions, criteria, and results of studies.
This process will help develop mutual benefits from stakeholder involvement in regional
planning and will address CPPP’s voluntary participation in an open and transparent
planning process.
In addition to regional activities, the CPPP participates in inter-regional planning through
relationships with the 1) PJM, MISO, and SPP utilities, 2) Southeastern Interregional
group comprising the main transmission-owning members of SERC and 3) Eastern
Interconnection Reliability Assessment Group ERAG. This will facilitate the
participation of CPPP regional stakeholders with interests in inter-regional projects.
The meeting agenda on November 18, 2010, is included below. Check in and light
refreshments will begin at 8:30 am, the meeting will begin at 9:00, lunch will be served at
