RFP UPDATES Voicemail Unified Communications – Tom Branam o Only had 3 responses to the bid. Meeting to choose a vendor will be 06/12/2013. Virtual Desktops – Darrell Hawkins o RFP is closed. Didn’t get many vendor responses. Will re-do the RFP in a few months to try to get more proposes Projects & Helpdesk system – Tom Rasmussen & Joann Innes o Evaluating the proposals and will make an evaluation this week and pick the top 3 vendors. Prefer a vendor that has both software systems. Backup Appliance – Brett Mckeachnie o Evaluated the proposals and have picked the top 3. Waiting to meet with vendors to see demos. Hope to make a final decision in 2 weeks Policy Tech – Brett Mckeachnie o Vendor was chosen. Currently in early stages of implementing program. SECURITY PROJECTS Need to be PCI compliant by June 30. Hoping to get an extension Security Audit is last week of June. STATE PROJECTS IPTV – looking to get a statewide cable TV. SIP Trunking Proposal State Cloud – move virtual infrastructure to state level. Pilot is going well. o It will be held at the downtown data center = 100 GB connection MISC o Let Ray know if you have any projects that you think should be proposed as a state project. List servers – Brett McKeachnie ITSN – Brett Mckeachnie Virtual Applications – Darrell Hawkins BUDGETS All hard-funded money must be spent by Friday, June 14. If you need to purchase anything after that day contact Vickie to get approval. Pro-Card: Don’t use cards from July 1 – statement date. OUTAGES Student Center: July 14 weekend IT DIRECTOR REPORTS Define services in service catalog Define a set of services that aren’t in the catalog MISC Projects List Update o Expected Delivery Date column o Now able to edit more changes on main projects page. o Show entries.
