Ray’s Updates Summer University is coming up. Encourage your employees to participate and take advantage. We’ve been very fortunate the past 2 PBA cycles. Try to thank people for their support of us, especially Val and Linda. Let’s try and get these 7 positions posted ASAP so that we can fill them as close to July 1 as possible. Get job descriptions prepared. If you hear about any RFPs - provide input or participate in any way you can. There’s an RFP out for Text Messaging Systems - 2way mentoring communications - very popular right now. High School and First Year students are primary audience. Conflict of Interest forms should all be in. Tis the season for being contacted by vendors. Be aware. If you have any interest in a vendor or topic, let Ray know. Val will be taking us to a retreat to talk about our major goals/work plans. From each IT Leadership member - Ray needs 2 categories of goals: What you’re personally going to be spending time and efforts to accomplish this year, and the one or two specific goals that the President would be interested in. So, YOUR priorities, and PRESIDENTIAL priorities. Get these to Ray as soon as you can. PBA Updates Review of spreadsheet on overhead. $300,000 one-time starting in July available to work on Virtual Lab environment for students via Academic Support. Data Breach Insurance for the institution - $80,000 IT R and R $500,000 one-time, $200,000 ongoing, which is an increase from last year.
