The Assignment You will select a country for your analysis. Your task is to research and write an
extensive analysis of the level of performance of that economic system. Your analysis should include (but
not limited to) the aspects listed below:








Background information- history, geography and resources availability, etc.
Economic infrastures and philosophy
Current economic leading indicators
Analysis of short run and long run trends of these indicators (current, yearly, last five
years)
Government’s role in the economy - regulation and deregulation
Government’s debt to revenue ratio and its impact on economic performance
Your analysis rating of the economic performance of your Economic system
Conclusion- predictions and potential remedies for poor performance.(suggest appropriate
economic policy.
