We have sent this packet to you to jump start
the school year. We hope you have a great
year at Sojourner!
 School starts at 8am. Drop off is at the cafeteria
between 7:45-8am
 School ends at 2:30pm for grades 1-5. Pick up is at the
gym door
 Kindergarten ends at 11:45am. Pick up is at the
cafeteria door
 Sojourner buys school supplies for all students in bulk
and collects a $30 fee from parents so you don’t have
to shop for supplies
 Sojourner’s snack policy is fresh fruit and vegetables
only for grades 1-5. Kindergarten has a separate
snack policy. Mrs. Gately will contact the
kindergarten parents regarding the kindy snack
policy
 Students eat sack lunches in the classroom. We do not
participate in the hot lunch program.
 Students need to wear closed toed shoes to school.
Athletic shoes are preferred due to the level of activity
the kids participate in
 Buses can run early or late the first week of school
