Dear Board Members:
As a consent item at the October 6, 2015 board meeting, I would recommend that the Board of Education
adopt the following resolution:
Be it resolved that the Granite School District formally agrees to contribute 5% of
the required member contribution pursuant to Utah Code 49-12-301 and 53A-17a125, to the Utah Retirement Systems Contributory Retirement Plan for fiscal year
2015-2016 for all eligible employees.
This annual resolution is required by the IRS and the laws cited in the resolution itself. If there are
