Biography: Before attending university I was extremely scared that I wouldn’t make any friends as in Sixth Form I wasn’t involved in any extra-curricular activities, therefore I only ever mixed with my school peers, who I had known for a long time. However as soon as I arrived, I very quickly realised I had nothing to be afraid of. I almost instantly forgot about moving away and started to make friends from all over the world with different backgrounds, interests and hobbies. Now in my second year of study, I have been elected to be deputy chairman of the Arts society. Through doing this not only have I formed great friendships but developed communication and teamwork skills that will be a great addition to my CV.
