INSTRUCTIONS FOR ENTERING ON-LINE.

You will find a link to the 2014 4-H Fair catalog and On-Line Entry System on the 4-H
website: www.extension.umd.edu/harford-county View the catalog and rules, then
write down your selections before going to the on-line entry site. Use this sheet as a guide.
If you have questions, call the Extension office, 410-638-3255.
CREATE NEW USER ACCOUNT: This will be your personal information, please complete as
accurately as possible—Note your user name and password for additional entries later.
SAVE ACCOUNT INFORMATION. You will need to Accept Terms of Service before continuing. Once this is complete you will go into the Premium Book and select Outdoor or Indoor. Open the Section to make your selection and enter your items.
ALL CLOVER Classes are listed on one page of the Fair Catalog
INDOOR please note: Make the correct selection. You may need to scroll down to see all classes.
~ Junior classes start with a J (Junior)
~ Intermediate classes start with an I
(Intermediate)
~ Seniors classes will simply start with 0’s
EXCEPTIONS: Welding. See Rule #8 under
Welding. You will only select A, E, or F.
Banners & Booths, Trash Can Challenge, Family
Fun Challenge, Club Historian Book, 4-H Promotional and Club 4-H Camp Improvement—Only 1
entry per club or family—no duplicates. Decide
who in your club or family will make the entry.
OUTDOOR (Livestock)
entries will require animal information:
~ Owner
~ Animal Name
~ Breeder/Handler—Indicate
Animal Breed (Breed, Cross
or Pet)
~ Tattoo/Ear Notch Field—
Use the 4-H Market Ear Tag
number.
~ Gender
~ Additional information not
mandatory, but helpful if you
have (see on-line entry).
Make sure to save after each addition.
When completely finished with entering entries—you will need to go to Tickets and
Misc.Items/Checkout. Click on the box indicating you have read and understand the rules
and regulations, then Submit.
You will see the entries you have made and should receive an email as your confirmation.
