Main outcomes Architecture, system specification, development, test and validation for real-time traffic safety applications + system components (e.g. Local Dynamic Map, message router) ERTICO – ITS Europe ETSI workshop 4 February 2009 Key activities: FeedMap Activity FeedMAP (2006-2008) Goal Enabling quick and inexpensive map updates Main activities Technical and commercial feasibility of map deviation feedback concept Main outcomes FeedMAP has created a novel concept feeding back information to the map makers using detection of map deviations in the vehicles. The concept is seen as one of the pillar for better road map database maintenance in the future. CVIS resident applications include cooperative monitoring, interactive traffic control, personalised information & guidance and services for trucks. Main outcomes Proof of concept of flexible, future-proof and open platform for multitude of services for the driver, the vehicle-maker, the traffic manager, the fleet operator and value-added service provider. ERTICO – ITS Europe ETSI workshop 4 February 2009 Key activities: i-Travel Activity i-Travel (2008 - 2009) Goal Service platform for the connected traveller Main activities “i-Travel” is an original concept for “the connected traveller” that combines innovations such as a “virtual travel assistant” service that accompanies a traveller before and throughout each journey, providing personalised, context-aware information and support whenever wherever and however needed, creation of the first B2B “eMarketplace” in the traffic and travel information services sector.
