The Liberty University Wind Symphony has toured throughout the Eastern United States, from Vermont to Miami, and from St. Louis to New Orleans. The ensemble is comprised of 56 fabulous college musicians studying a variety of majors at Liberty University. This wind symphony performs a wide variety of music that appeals to a diverse audience. Over the past five years, the Liberty University Wind Symphony produced five CDs, “Ghost Train,” “High Flight,” “Mothership,” “Frozen Cathedral,” and “Song of the Phoenix,” which will be available at the concert. The length of the concert is typically one hour. The public is invited to attend. There is no charge for admission. Dr. Kerr received his B.S. degree in Music Education from Liberty University. He holds the M.A. degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Virginia Tech. and the Ph.D. degree in Music Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
