From File choose Save As
From the Save As box, click the blue triangle to the right of the file name field.
The blue triangle should now be pointing up and your save as box should appear as follows.
In the left pane, click on Macintosh HD from here you should follow the path to your username under
Users → (Your user name)
Click on the house for (Your Username) and then the Documents folder.
Usually, permission errors are a result of a “broken” link in the finder. See “Replacing broken links in
finder” to fix this.
