Examples include/have included: dance classes for adults with disabilities, gardening, canoeing courses (free) for adults with disabilities, nature explorations, scavenger hunts, and walks.
Gardening can be an excellent way to increase your step count and get you out and moving. Consider volunteering at a local community garden, or renting a plot to call your own! Having a community garden plot can also be a low-cost way to add fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet. See the list below for locations. Some plots are free, while others charge a rental fee. The league is open to Baltimore City residents between the ages of 15-17 and 18+. To enter the league, each team must pay a total fee of $100, which covers team tee shirts, official fees, and awards.
