Prince George's County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting Members of the Prince George's County Farm Bureau (PGCFB) gathered at the Baden Firehouse in Brandywine, MD on the eve of November 20 to learn about local and state initiatives and legislation affecting Prince George's County farmers. In addition, members heard about how local organizations used PGCFB grant funds to enhance their agricultural education projects in the County. Representatives from the University of Maryland Extension, Alice Ferguson Foundation, Southern Maryland Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry and the Environmental Studies Academy at the William S. Schmidt Center, Prince George's County Public Schools gave an update on their work as well as goals for the upcoming year.
