1. You will need your dominoes.

You will need to play this game with a partner.
Place all the dominoes face down. Each partner flips one domino over.
Tell your partner how many dots are on your domino “I have _________.”
Your partner tells you how many dots are on his/her domino.
You both decide who has the greatest number of dots and say “______is
greater than __________.”
7. The person with the greatest number of dots on his/her domino gets to
keep both dominoes.
8. If you both flip over a domino with the same number of dots, you will
have a Battle.
9. Take 3 dominoes from the face down pile and stack them between you
and your partner. Now you take another domino and flip it over. Your
partner will do the same. Tell your partner what you have and your
partner tells you. Whoever has the greatest number gets the dominoes
plus the three you used to battle and the original two that started the
battle.
Please encourage your children to use the math talk “I have ________________.” “__________ is
greater than _________________.”
