The Civil War is over and you have been asked to draft a Reconstruction
Plan for the president. How will you specifically address the issues below?
Consider laws, constitutional amendments, executive orders, military
actions or other plans to achieve your goals.
1. How will southern states be admitted back into the union?
2. How will you address the issue of freed slaves?
3. What will you do about southern lands that are presently being
occupied by Federal troops?
4. What will you do about southerners who served in the Confederate
Army? The Confederate Government?
