Daren Wallis
CEO, Cirrus Research plc
Operating in a niche market, Cirrus Research plc design, manufacture, market and sell
acoustic instrumentation around the globe through multiple channels, including a network
of independent dealers and overseas Cirrus companies. With companies in France,
Germany and Singapore, export sales currently account for over 60% of group turnover.
Daren started his career as an Electronics Design Engineer with Cirrus Research plc in
1992, became Production Manager in 1997 and Group CEO in 2000 at which point the
group consisted solely of Cirrus Research plc and an office in Germany. During this time,
Cirrus has mutated from an Engineering led company to one driven by Sales and
Marketing. In 2008 Daren attended Cranfield's Business Growth Program.
