Frank Horwitz Director of Cranfield School of Management Director and Professor at Cranfield School of Management, Cranfield University, since April 2009. Professor Horwitz was previously Director of the Graduate School of Business (GSB) University of Cape Town (UCT). He is a member of the British Academy of Management (BAM), and the Association of Business Schools (ABS), on the Strategy Council of the Sloan Centre on Aging & Work in Boston, USA, a Companion of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), past member of the Institute of Directors (IOD, SA), former member of the Board of Governors of the Association of African Business Schools (AABS) and President of the South African Business Schools Association (SABSA). He specialises in international human resources management, human resource strategy and employment relations and has over 90 refereed journal articles, 4 books and more than 20 book chapters, locally and internationally. Frank Horwitz was educated at Grey College and the University of the Witwatersrand. He is married with three children, is a keen cyclist, enjoys good wine and plays a ‘mean’ guitar.
