Philip Harris European Trade Mark Attorney & Solicitor and Partner, Gill Jennings & Every LLP Philip Harris is a partner with leading IP attorney firm Gill Jennings & Every, where he specialises in trade marks and brand protection. He entered the trade mark profession in 1983 when he joined Thorn EMI, handling a worldwide portfolio of trade marks spanning the electronics, entertainment and computer fields. In 1989 Philip qualified as a solicitor, and joined Crossman Block, a leading firm of city solicitors. He became a Registered Trade Mark Agent in 1990 and joined GJE in August 1992. He is also a Trade Mark & Design Litigator and a recognised professional representative before OHIM (the Community Trade Mark Office). Elected as President of the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys, in 2006 Philip liaised with Government on its program to reform legal services. Philip remains active in ITMA and INTA, and ECTA, is an accredited CEDR Mediator and an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
