C8 at 104x. Very bright nucleus; starlike. It looked double (or there may be a
superimposed star). No halo. It lies at the top of a "Y" shaped asterism of field stars.
(The "Y" is lying on its side, the top being open on the E end.)
C11 at 193x. Large and low surface brightness; either a stellar nucleus or a 13m
foreground star lies on the same line of sight.

It is a large outlying member of the M81-M82 group.
Observations:
C8 at 65x. It is mottled at higher powers. The galaxy has a NW-SE axis. Five stars
(8m-9m) run E to NW. Ken Reeves, a member of the Saguaro Astronomy Club in
Phoenix, Arizona, calls this a BARF object— "big and real faint."
C11 at 193x. Very faint and large nucleus with extremely faint and large halo. The N
end looks a little brighter.
