With spring comes the SCIENCE FAIR!!! The PTO is proud to sponsor this annual event yet again this year! We want to thank Colleen Taddeo and Sarah Smith for organizing the event! Also, a huge thank you to all of the students for their hard work and participation which makes the Science Fair a huge success year after year. The Jaguar Jungle doors open on 3/22 at 6:30pm, so come and see what our little scientists are up to. Even if your child is not participating, it’s a great opportunity to support their fellow classmates. The tentative budget will be discussed at the Board of Ed meeting tomorrow, Tuesday 3/22 at 7:30pm in the MHS Media Center. All Madison residents are encouraged to attend these meetings. The agenda for the meeting can be found online. There will be a Community Forum on Special Education hosted by Dr. Rossi and our new Director of Special Services, Mr. Andrew Brandon this Wednesday, 3/23 at 7pm in the MHS Media Center. There is a meeting of Madison Music & Arts on 3/23 at 7:30pm in the MHS Band Room. We wish all of those celebrating a Happy Easter! Be on the lookout in the coming weeks for information about the TJS Jamboree! Current information: The Jamboree will be on Friday May 20th, from 4:30-7:30 pm. (Rain date June 3rd.) The poster contest will begin after Spring Break. With Easter this coming weekend… if you receive any larger sized baskets… save them for us! (We can store them.) As we get closer to the event you will get more info, and hear about ways you can help. We NEED your help NOW!!! We are starting our basket raffle business solicitations and need volunteers. Email jamboreeraffle@gmail.com to volunteer now! 2015-16 Edition 14 2 PTO Newsletter March 21, 2016 The Arts Matter, the annual faculty benefit concert and art exhibit, will be held at Madison High School on Thursday, March 31. The evening will feature some familiar faces to TJS Parents. There will be a special appearance and performance by music teacher Jaclyn Layman! Emma Peterson, who is currently filling in for Mrs. Layman while she is on maternity leave, orchestra director Laurie Quinlan and basic skills and REACH teacher Kathleen Wallace will also perform and art teacher Michael Watson will be part of the art exhibition. Tickets are $10 for Adults, $5 for students and seniors.
