Attitude and Leadership
KEY PRINCIPLES
• A positive attitude may not move you to your
next level of leadership but a negative one can
certainly prevent you from getting there.
• You can be in a position of responsibility and
authority and have a lousy attitude, but you
can’t have a lousy attitude and earn a position
of responsibility and authority.
• Leadership has less to do with position that it
does with disposition.
• The last of one’s freedom is to choose one’s
attitude in any given situation.
9

• A person’’s integrity is an inherent product
of the life process. It is inevitable. The
nature of our integrity is obvious
regardless of our conscious and deliberate
awareness of it.
• This leads to one of our primary
challenges: to KNOW what our integrity is.
Only we can determine what are our
purposes, principles, and intentions.

LEVEL THREE: PRODUCTION LEADERSHIP (RESULTS)
• In LEVEL THREE: Production Leadership,
you achieve results though the effective
management of relationships, motivating
others and casting vision. This is where
most leaders acquire their sense of
accomplishment.
