I. Honorary degrees may be awarded at commencement or some other equally
appropriate time. The names of persons receiving honorary degrees must be
approved by the Board.
II. The Superintendent/President with appropriate involvement of the faculty and the
Academic Senate shall establish procedures and criteria for the award of honorary
degrees.
