Matt Hudson to manage Schroder UK
Opportunities Fund
8 September 2014
Schroders today announces that Citywire AA-rated1 Matt Hudson will take on full fund management
responsibility for the Schroder UK Opportunities Fund and Luxembourg-domiciled Schroder ISF2 UK
Opportunities with immediate effect. Julie Dean will leave Schroders. The investment objectives of the
funds will not change. The Board of Schroder UK Growth Fund plc has agreed that the Business
Cycle Investment team will continue to manage the Company’s portfolio in accordance with its current
investment policy and objective for the immediate future.

Biography: Matt Hudson (photo is attached)
Matt Hudson has 14 years’ investment experience and is a member of Schroders’ pan-European
equity team, with responsibility for equity and income portfolios. Matt joined the Schroders group as
part of the Cazenove acquisition. Prior to Cazenove he worked for AIB Govett Investment
Management. Prior to this he was a chartered accountant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He graduated
from Cambridge University with a degree in History.
