Denis Parisien joins Schroders as
Portfolio Manager for Emerging Market
Corporates

Schroders has appointed Denis Parisien as Portfolio Manager and member of the Emerging Market
Debt Relative Return team, based in New York and reporting to James Barrineau, Co-Head of
Emerging Market Debt Relative Return. He will focus on emerging market corporates, supporting
several portfolios under James Barrineau’s leadership.
Denis Parisien joins Schroders from Deutsche Bank Securities in New York, where he served as
Head of Emerging Market Corporate Debt Research and Strategy for nearly four years. In this role, he
revamped the firm’s analytical framework and developed a unique research platform for emerging
markets, which combined fundamental and relative-value analysis.

Prior to working at Deutsche Bank, Denis worked for Santander Investment Securities, where he spent two
years as Executive Director and Head of Latin American Fixed Income Research and two years as Head of
Latin American Credit Research. Earlier in his career, he served as Senior Vice President and Head of
Research for the Americas at Standard New York Securities in Miami for five years.
