Total Payables: 55,373 + 0 + 830 + 10,900 + 184 + 3,000 = TWD 70,287 Example B Student A: a freshman of the Dept. of Electronic Engineering lives in a room for four people on Main Campus, and is awarded the scholarship of TWD 120,000 per year. The scholarship awarded in the 2015 fall semester is TWD 60,000. Total Payables: 55,373 + 0 + 830 + 10,900 + 184 + 3,000 = 70,287 – 60,000 = TWD 10,287 Example C Student A: a freshman of the Dept. of Electronic Engineering lives in a room for four people on Main Campus, and is awarded the scholarship of exemption from the tuition and other required fees for two semesters. Total Payables: 55,373 + 0 + 830 + 10,900 + 184 + 3,000 = 70,287 – 55,373 – 830 – 184 = TWD 13,900 Example D Student A: a freshman of the Dept. of Electronic Engineering lives in a room for four people on Main Campus, and is awarded the scholarship for TWD 60,000 per year. The scholarship awarded in the 2015 fall semester is TWD 30,000. Total Payables: 55,373 + 0 + 830 + 10,900 + 184 + 3,000 = 70,287 – 30,000 = TWD 40,287 Example E Student A: a freshman of the Dept. of Electronic Engineering lives in a room for four people on Main Campus, and is awarded the scholarship of exemption from 50% of the tuition and other required fees for two semesters. Total Payables: 55,373 + 0 + 830 + 10,900 + 184 + 3,000 = 70,287 – (55,373+830+184)/2 = TWD 42,094 Please contact OICA for further inquiries. xiii H.
