Low visibility of security personnel in
military convoys and presidential
motorcades decreases their ability to
detect external threats.
 THE OBJECTIVE
Create an autonomous system that
increases situational awareness of
security personnel by providing them
with a ‘bird’s-eye’ view.
CONCEPT ART
 THE SOLUTION
Build an unmanned aerial quadcopter system
capable of autonomously following a ground
vehicle. Live video taken on the quadcopter is
streamed down to the vehicle where it is displayed
in a graphical user interface.
