HUMAN RESOURCES Interested in a Roth 401(K)? Take our survey. Recent legislation allows ERS to add a Roth 401(k) option to the Texa$aver Program. View the Comparison chart of the current Texa$aver 401(k) account option and a Roth 401(k) account. Adding a Roth option to the 401(k) Plan will increase the plan’s administrative costs. The State does not provide operational funding for the Texa$aver program, so participants pay fees to cover operating costs. These fees are generally lower than fees charged by private investment firms. Roth 401(k) participants would pay these fees in addition to the current account charges. Take the Roth 401(k) survey by 5 p.m. on September 17, 2010 and let us know what you think. Results will be posted on the ERS website.
