Purpose of Assignment #8
In this assignment we were asked to design a “zero-gravity donut
holder.” The assignment was to create complete part documentation of the
donut holder in Inventor. This included complete part drawings, as well as
an assembly drawing complete with balloon tags and a parts list. The donut
holder had to consist of two custom parts and a standard part that could be
imported from the Inventor library feature. I chose to make two custom
plates and a standard dowel pin as the fastener in the middle.
