Specifically 1) Provide cross training in areas of the Functional Analyst/PeopleSoft, iNtegrate2 and the resulting position backfill 2) Continue provide cross training for Network and Telephony, especially with new VoIP system; 3) Cross training between Telephony staff and IT Customer Support staff for VoIP where applicable 4) Hire two Programmers (Information Specialists) for the Enterprise Group 5) Hire a Server & Database Specialist 6) Be supportive of training opportunities for employees X Goal 5: Continue to participate in NSHE shared services initiatives in information technology. 1) Create MOUs with GBC and WNC to improve shared services and knowledge exchange X Goal 6: Improve technology structure support in policies and practice. 1) Promote sustainable business practice through examining, analyzing printer usage at TMCC; develop conclusions and actions based on that research 2) Convert IT procedures and guidelines into user friendly steps that are easily understandable and accessible by campus users 3) Develop training material on the new phone system and offer training to employees via ProDev 4) Bring back stability to IT after the Shared Services discussions.
