Raptors & snakes
Take a trip back in time to the
world of Native American Indians
with Creek Indian Jim Sawgrass and
other members of the Florida
Creek Indian Tribe, who will bring
to life the history and traditions of
the tribes living in the Southeast.
Indian languages, sign language,
true Indian names, traditional
outfits, weapons, hunting and
cooking techniques and games will
all be part of the program.
In addition to scheduled
programs, Jim will also welcome
CoastFest visitors at his
encampment which portrays native
American life during the 1700’s.
