Introducing the Cisco Authorized
Connected Grid Partner Program
Delivering Cisco Connected Grid Products and Solutions to the
Energy and Utility Market via Qualified Cisco Channel Partners
The Cisco® Connected Grid solutions are a critical building block of Cisco’s overall
end-to-end smart grid architectural solutions. These solutions are designed to
positively affect the way the world generates, distributes, and consumes energy.
The Cisco Connected Grid portfolio can help energy and utility organizations more
reliably and efficiently deliver electric power from generation facilities to businesses
and homes. This will contribute to better energy management, as well as providing
economic and environmental benefits.
The purpose-built, ruggedized Cisco 2010 Connected Grid Router and 2520
Connected Grid Switch are ideal for energy and utility organizations that want
to develop a more sophisticated infrastructure or smart grid. These
technologies build on existing Cisco Smart Grid offerings and deliver end-toend solutions that help energy and utility customers address grid reliability,
compliance with industry regulations, and operational expenses.
The Cisco Authorized Connected Grid Partner Program recognizes partners for
their knowledge and expertise in selling, designing, installing, and supporting
comprehensive Connected Grid solutions to the energy and utility industry. This
self-elected partner program allows partners to sell the Connected Grid product
suite as they work to develop new opportunities and take advantage of the
exponential growth in this emerging market.
Although the Connected Grid router and switch are available to all Cisco
partners to sell worldwide, achieving this partner status can boost your
company’s credibility with customers by enhancing your ability to meet a wide
range of customer needs, validating your capabilities to customers, and
allowing you to differentiate your services in the market.

requirements, including:


Completion of short, online learning modules as defined by the three
role requirements
