What is Speech and Language Therapy?

SLTs are responsible for the assessment,
diagnosis and management of people
with communication and swallowing
disorders
•
SLTs enable people with communication
and swallowing disorders to achieve their
maximum potential to communicate

This may involve direct work with the
individual and/or indirect work the
family/carers
