EVALUATION RESEARCH TOOL 1. Proficiency in the logic and vocabulary of evaluation is required. A grade of B or better in Psych 315EE: Evaluation Procedures (4 units). 2. Proficiency in the application of evaluation is required. The project needs to be a substantial example of doctoral level work that involves the evaluation of a real program of the student’s choosing. The evaluation may be formative or summative in nature; however, the project should be designed and executed to answer at least two key evaluation questions. The student will produce a technical evaluation report, written for the client, and should include all sections of a scientifically credible and accurate evaluation including executive summary, introduction, methods, results and conclusions. The proposed topic and evaluation proposal must be cleared by ONE of the tool examiners (either Dr. Tiffany Berry or Dr. Tarek Azzam). The proposal should provide substantial detail that would normally require several pages of explication.
