During the past decade (2000–2011), as we initiated and completed the construction of the International
Space Station (ISS), nearly 90 different individuals lived and worked as part of long-duration expedition missions on
ISS in the Low Earth Orbit (LEO). Some of these expeditions on ISS lasted as long as 200+ days and one as short
as 58 days, with an average duration being close to 169 days. Having completed 27 expeditions, currently, we are
on the 28th, and two more expeditions are already planned for this year. This past decade covers both peak activity
of the solar cycle (2002-2003) and the lowest solar-minimum condition in the recent history (2009-2010), and thus
provides a wide range of radiation environments at ISS. We present estimated radiation doses for each expedition
based on model calculations.
