Executive Summary
SGA is one of the oldest organizations on campus which has grown tremendously in line with increase in enrollment
and stature of University of Houston. With these factors, it is important for SGA to seek support of University of
Houston.

Base Augmentation
SGA is requesting a base augmentation of $12,160.32. These funds will be used to increase SGA’s capabilities and
resources that will provide value to SGA members.
Office Supplies
• Assure enough supplies for 80 SGA members
• Difficult in the past to maintain regular office
supplies
• Allow the level of advocacy that SGA is capable of
Travel Expenses
• Difficulty attending significant leadership
conferences due to budget limitations
• Allow greater number of SGA leaders to travel to
State and National capital
• Insure SGA can attend Texas Student Association
meetings
• Lastly, it is important to continue our attendance to
national Campus Leadership Council
