In both full-time education and vocational training, ESSEC proposes a wide range of programs
to all those wanting to obtain an extraordinary learning experience, strengthen their talent, express
their leadership and become truly high-level managers.
A centennial institution with a wide network of companies and academic institutions in France
and throughout the world, ESSEC has opted to focus its strategic development on three principles:
innovation, involvement and internationalization which compose the three axes of the ESSEC
3i strategy that will be implemented from here until 2020.
An institution nourished by research and committed to an ambitious development of alliances
with leading institutions, ESSEC constantly strives to bring its students face to face with
cutting-edge knowledge at the crossroads of discipline and to provide them with the latest
technologies.
Hallmarked by a profound humanist tradition, ESSEC has succeeded not only in making the link
between business and society a major subject of research, but it is also one of the fundamental
components in the training of responsible managers. ESSEC thereby affirms the necessity
of putting innovation, knowledge and the creation of value at the service of the wider
community.
With students coming from 90 different countries, a largely international faculty body and a
campus in the Asia-Pacific region since 2005, ESSEC is both an international and multicultural
institution. This internationalization is strengthened by the building of a new, 6,500 m2 campus in
Singapore and the implementation of development projects in Africa and Latin America.
These three axes – innovation, involvement and internationalization – forge ESSEC’s learning
philosophy that is common to all its programs: accompany our students throughout a learning
journey aimed at opening them up to new, unthought-of opportunities. Studying at ESSEC
means creating your own path towards the future and joining a supportive community of 46,000
graduates worldwide!
Welcome to ESSEC!

Professional experience
At ESSEC, the professional experience gained by our students in all of our
courses provides a very real boost to their personal maturity.
Full attention is given to the key stages in the process, with the assistance of professors:
- We personally validate the content of each mission to make sure it corresponds to our own top-ranking
criteria: accountability, risk-taking, experience of managerial situations.
- We organize individual and group experience-feedback sessions.
- Each student positions him/herself on a skills-acquisition scale.
- An appraisal of the skills acquired is carried out by a variety of methods: tutoring, mentoring, coaching,
business incubators, talent pools, business game, behaviour tests
As an ESSEC partner-company you become an integral part of our pedagogy, and you will be able to

Students ?
At ESSEC, we think that building a brandname takes 3 years and is an ongoing process with several steps.
This relies on 3 pilars : Recruitment, Pedagogy, Image
We help Campus Managers and HR Managers to find the most suitable actions depending on their
interests, their recruitment needs, and their communication budget to develop a pluri-annual partnership.
« Best practices to share : knowing where your company is « on the Talent attraction ladder », where you
want to be and when, share your true values and differenciation points, get to know the ESSEC Career
Services team, be present each term through a chosen range of actions for our students and graduates,

Creating new Chairs :
Other Chairs are being and can be created upon
companies requests, taking into account problematics
that companies are currently facing and capitalizing on
our Essec Professors expertise.
Partners companies define together the field of research
and activity of the Chair as members of the Steering
Comity including ESSEC representatives.
The chair coordinates pedagogic tools : study
cases, collective projects for students, seminars and
conferences, sites visits, meetings with experts from
partners companies..
The Chair team communicates on events and research
publications. An annual activity report is issued, including
budget reporting..
Scholarships
To allow students from all countries–whether French or
foreigners, whatever their social background or financial
circumstances– to take part in our programs, ESSEC
offers companies the opportunity to participate in the
creation of scholarship programs. In this way companies
support ESSEC in the recruitment of talented students.
We aim to promote the diversity of each group of
graduates, which is a source of effectiveness in school
and company.
For our partners, the scholarship programs become a
wellspring of suitably-qualified students to satisfy their
recruitment needs.
Our partners may choose to contribute to ESSEC
scholarship funds or may decide to create a specific
program bearing their company’s name.
