Virtue of the Week The virtue of the week for this week is thankfulness. Thankfulness is being grateful for what you have. It is an attitude of gratitude for learning, loving. And being. It is appreciating the little things which happen around you and within you every day. We will continue to celebrate and practice the virtue of thankfulness next week during our Thanksgiving holiday. Please be safe and spend lots of time together with your friends and family. On a personal note, I would like to take this opportunity to express my thankfulness for such an incredible community of students, teachers, parents, and community-at-large. I am grateful to be a part of the Wilson Montessori Family! Picture Orders are due on Monday, November 23rd! Page 2 Tip of the Week Open the Doors to Math Doors in your house are the perfect place for hands-on practice with angles. Take turns opening or closing a door and asking, “Acute, right, or obtuse?” Partially open a door, and it’s an acute angle. Open it straight out, and it is a right angle. Open it wider, and it is an obtuse angle. These are great math conversations you can have without special materials! The Paw Print
