Students will draw on personal and everyday experiences as they learn about Canada’s distinct and changing character and the natural and human systems and global influences that shape the country. The replacement cost for a lost, stolen, or damaged textbook which is beyond repair is $70. The cost for an atlas is $100. The cost of repairing a damaged textbook will be paid by the student. See agenda page 20 ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION POLICY Student work will be in assessed and evaluated according to the four categories defined in the curriculum document (Ontario Curriculum, Canadian and World Studies, 2005).
