MEDIEVAL HISTORY MUSEUM World History to the Sixteenth Century Culminating Activity The Medieval Studies Department at the Royal Ontario Museum is opening a new Medieval Gallery and has asked us to create parts of the exhibit. Each one of you will be responsible for researching a particular area of The Middle Ages and showcasing it in the Medieval Gallery. Tasks: 1. From the list below, choose an area of The Middle Ages. 2. Explain your particular area of study in a well written and documented 4 page research paper. Your paper will be in proper report format and must include a Reference list and proper citation. 3. Create a visual display to be showcased in the Gallery. Your display must be creative and look like a museum exhibit. Your exhibit display must include: a. A one page summary of your topic b. A minimum of 3 visuals with brief explanations c. A minimum of 3 physical Artefacts with brief explanations d. Any other objects you feel will enhance the exhibit 4. We will have a grand opening where everyone will have a chance to tour all the exhibits and hear a brief explanation. 5. The grand opening will also be open to outside dignitaries, including other classes, teachers, vice-principals and the Principal.
