Note: You should follow this procedure only when instructed by a Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) engineer, or when instructed by a Cisco ICM Technical Tip. Use the shutdown Command You can use the shutdown command in a Telnet session to shut down a Cisco ICM remote system. Note: Use the shutdown command during a scheduled maintenance window. The output below explains the options available for the shutdown command. C:\>shutdown /? C:\>shutdown \\geociscolgra /force /reboot Use the Windows NT Shutdown User Interface To restart your computer using the Microsoft Windows NT Shutdown User Interface, click Start > Shut Down > Restart the computer.
