‘GET YOUR RED ON!’ SALE AT UH BOOKSTORES
Houston, November 28, 2011 – The Cougars are
headed to the conference championship and the
campus is getting fired up to cheer them to victory!
In honor of the upcoming game at Robertson
Stadium, the UH Bookstore is having a giant “Get
Your Red On!” promotion on Cougar gear this
Friday, December 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
All UH clothing and gifts will be on sale for 25-50
percent off during the two-hour spirit event to
encourage UH students, faculty, staff and alumni to
wear Cougar Red this weekend and support our
team. The sale is available in-store only at all UH Bookstore locations including the main store in
the University Center, the Fan Shop located in the Athletic/Alumni Center, and the Calhoun Lofts
store.
Customers can get an additional 5 percent off their purchase during the two-hour sale by bringing
their smartphone and showing the cashier they “like” the UH Bookstore on Facebook. Also, some
lucky Facebook fans selected at random will be rewarded with prizes on Monday, Dec. 5. The UH
Bookstore will also be monitoring Foursquare during the sales and if a customer becomes
“mayor” while shopping, they can show the cashier on their smartphone or mobile device to get
an extra 5 percent off their purchase.
