Houston Rapid Transit (HRT), a joint venture, is coordinating all aspects of construction, demolition, and utility relocation with a start date of February 22nd. Approximately 15 parking spaces in Lot 9C will be lost due to construction activity. During the week of February 15th, “No Parking” signs will be posted at parking spots which have been acquired by METRO. High impact traffic alerts will be issued to the UH community via the PIER system as needed. Projected date of completion for the METRO Southeast Line Segment 2A is 2014.
