NOW LEASING RETAIL SPACE CALHOUN LOFTS
Houston, February 18, 2009 – The Calhoun Lofts is the University of Houston’s newest residential
facility offering independent, loft-style living. The building features 553,000 Gross Square Feet of
housing for approximately 1000 graduate and undergraduate professional students within the
campus professional precinct including 10,000 SF of retail space and 1,000 SF of multi-purpose
meeting space. The Calhoun Lofts are located adjacent to the UH Law Center and UH Bauer
College of Business, at 4700 Calhoun Street.
Approximately 5,800 SF of retail space is available at $18 to $20 SF. Standard university lease
agreements consider a term of 10 years. All retail space is located at street level with sidewalk
and street access.
